"…..what…?" Romano said finally.

You blushed madly and could say nothing.

Romano suddenly blushed too. "H-hey if you're saying this because you think it's going to make me happy or something then don't!" he shouted, waving his hands in front of his body.

"No! I-it's not that…" you began. "I…I'm telling you this because I love you and…and I want it. I'm telling you because I want to give myself to you!"

Romano stood still for a moment along with you…but only for a moment. You gasped when Romano tugged you into his arms and immediately latched his mouth to yours. Your gasp had worked in his favor as well as he immediately moved his tongue into your mouth to join yours in a fiery, passionate dance.

You thought you'd be shyer than you were now but instead you wound your arms around his neck and pressed your body into his. You couldn't believe it…this was really happening with Romano…you loved him so much and you wanted this….

"____________?! Romano?! You in here?!" a voice you knew all too well called.

Before you and Romano could separate, the source of the sound was standing in the doorway…..

Russia seemed partially disturbed but also amused in a childlike way at the idea of you two having sex in the kitchen.

While all of this was happening, you and Romano were frozen in place. Your lips had separated but your arms were still around each other and your hips were pressed together. You were frozen….utterly frozen.

"Honhonhon! Aaaaah amour…." A third voice added.

What the hell?!!! Did the world hate you or something? Now France was here!!!

This couldn't get any worse….it really couldn't.

"Romano!" Spain called with glee. "Awwww my Romano is all grown up!"

"Ve~! Big brother has a girlfriend!" Italy shouted, joining the party out of nowhere.

It had been several months since the incident at your house but despite its traumatic effects and mental scars you and Romano were still going steady and very much in love. You two had your disputes but you always made up; real love is being able to love one another despite your faults.

"Roma!" you called, waving your hand as you ran up to his house where he was waiting for you.

"You're late." He grumbled.

"Oh come on; only by five minutes Roma!" you laughed before wrapping your arms around him. "March 17th….happy birthday Lovino…and happy 7 month anniversary too…" you said, kissing his lips. "So what are we doing for your birthday?"

"Going somewhere that I like." He said, grabbing your hand.

You laughed. "Where?"

Romano rolled his eyes. "Quit being such a kid." He grumbled.

You squeaked in surprise when Romano suddenly grabbed you from behind and wrapped something around your eyes to blindfold you.

"Lovi! What the heck?" you exclaimed.

"Oh shut up." He said, taking your hand once more and guiding you to the destination of his choice.

You smiled as Romano held your hand. You weren't entirely sure where you were going. This was very unlike Romano….

After about twenty more minutes he stopped and held your waist. You couldn't see a thing but the smell of where you were, was so familiar…it was so pleasant, fresh, and sweet.

"Roma?" you questioned.

Finally the blindfold was wordlessly removed from your eyes…you gasped and smiled. It was your field!

"Lovino…it's been a while…" you whispered as you walked into the field a bit. You smiled at him. "I want to give you your present."

Romano walked over to you and watched you gently as you pulled a small box from your bag and handed it to him. He looked at it curiously before opening it with widened eyes.

"It's a promise ring…" you said with a soft smile.

He removed the ring from its plush bed and held it gently. He looked on the inside and willed himself not to tear up. Internally he was so overwhelmed by your gift….the inside read "I love you more than anything forever"

"I guess we're ring swapping then…" Romano said, sliding the ring on his wedding ring finger.

"Ring swapping?" You questioned, not quite understanding what he meant.

He gulped nervously but tried to remain calm as he shakily knelt to the ground; your hands flew up to your mouth and tears sprung up in your eyes.

"__-__________....I….me too…I feel the same way…I mean what the ring said. So…so…ugh damn it…___________ will you marry me?" he asked, presenting you with a ring.

You couldn't move as a single tear slid from you eye…finally however, you managed to get enough strength to fall against him and hold him tightly. "Yes! Yes Lovino! I'll marry you!"

Romano breathed quietly and slid the ring on your finger before wrapping his arms around you.

"So…I'm marrying you….h-how is that for a birthday present?" you sniffed, moving away to kiss him.

He smirked at you. "We'll see how much of a hell it is or isn't once we're married; I'll let you know if I made the right decision then."

"Lovino! Don't scare me!" you complained.

You couldn't argue any further though when Romano latched his lips to yours. You could only sigh in pure happiness as you wrapped your arms around his neck.

You had both found someone you truly loved…someone who you would always love forever…someone that you would always love more than anything…
