Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr
SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.
A lot of people have asked me how it's going, when it will be published and stuff. I really appreciate getting asked these things because it shows that people are actually interested in my writings, and that it just such a great feeling :aww:

I'm getting fucking angry at dA here. There is a comic about a woman being sexually tortured by men because her husband wanted to see it to get off on it; THAT is allowed...and YET my FrancexReader lemon got removed because it's "pornographic". It's a beautiful act between husband and wife!!!! I want to beat the shit outta whoever this idiot is who is reporting lemons because they lost that lemon contest. What a loser. They don't realize that they are now the biggest loser on dA. What the fuck dA? There are pictures that are practically porn on this site but my story isn't allowed. I get so sick of hypocracy in the world. I actually sent dA a message on their hypocracy. They replied by saying something totally off-topic because my comment showed their ass up. I'm sorry for being bitchy right now but fuck I'm angry.

My Idea is to build a website completely devoted to Lemon Hetalia fanfictions. That way it's normal and they WON'T get removed.

I don't think I can do it, because I don't read lemons that often and I don't think I have enough responsibility to manage a website. :iconotlplz:

What a shame, though. I really liked that fanfiction. :ohnoes:

It must be extremely annoying and just terrible to have your lemons taken down...but it's true that they haven't been allowed on DA...although, of course, it's not right for anyone at all to just go around reporting lemons because they lost a contest.

Art that only shows nudity is fine, I think. I believe as long as it doesn't show any intercourse (or something like that), it's permitted (And anyways, I consider it art.
But the fact that that comic already has sexual intercourse stuff going on is against the rules, so it's good that you reported it!

that is comlpete BS. is there like a bot or something working the counter? i would expect that art community mods would take a little more time in carrying out tasks and filing reports. someone needs to talk to CEO of dA, theyre obviously not watching all the fucks their company isnt giving.

I really hate some of dA's rules... It's just ridiculous... So it's totally fine if there are random webcam pics of genitalia, but it's not okay if there is a well-written story about two people who (normally) are in love and happen to have sex? That's just... stupid, for lack of a better word.
